IAEA-SO-6 aims at calibrations on the VCDT scale for δ34S.
IAEA-SO-6 is a barium sulfate prepared by R. Krouse (University of Calgary, Canada) and S. Halas (University of Lublin, Poland) by precipitation from sulfate solutions [1].
The isotopic δ34S value of the reference material IAEA-SO-6 is based on interlaboratory comparisons. The material is often used for δ33S calibrations, but this value is not officially agreed.
Analyte | Value | Unit | SD | R/I/C |
