IAEA-608 is one of three water reference materials enriched in δ(2H) and δ(18O) (see also IAEA-607 and IAEA-609) released for calibration and quality control measurements of water samples enriched in δ(2H) and δ(18O), such as those used in biomedical research.
IAEA-608 is supplied as 5 mL of water in flame-sealed glass ampoules. Sales are limited to four units per laboratory per year.
Details regarding its preparation and calibration are provided in the reference sheet.
