- Date of Release: 2024-09-09
IAEA-482 was produced from dried and milled anchovies provided by the IAEA Collaboration Centre, the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS, Republic of Korea). The raw material was further processed by the IAEA Collaboration Centre, the National Food Chain Safety Office – Radioanalytical Reference Laboratory (RRL, Hungary) before the addition of anthropogenic (134Cs, 137Cs) and natural (228Ra, 228Th, 226Ra, 210Pb) radionuclides. Additional processing, homogenisation testing, and characterisation measurements were then performed by the IAEA Terrestrial Environmental Radiochemistry (TERC) Laboratory. Further details can be found on the Certificate.
