The IAEA Terrestrial Environmental Radiochemistry Laboratory organizes annual proficiency test (PT) exercises for Member State laboratories. From December 3rd to 5th, the IAEA hosted a Worldwide Proficiency Test Exercise Webinar, where the Laboratory presented its research and analytical methodologies. The webinar also featured presentations on laboratory research conducted in Korea, the United Kingdom, and Hungary.

Participant Discussion
The IAEA Worldwide Proficiency Test Exercise Webinar also allowed for collaboration with and between participants. This transparent dialogue provided the opportunity for information sharing, which resulted in scientific growth and the identification of problem areas in laboratories where further development will be needed.
