IAEA Webinar on Tritium in the Environment (February 11-12, 2026)

This webinar presented the IAEA Technical Report Series publication ‘Tritium in the Environment’ (TRS-495), published in 2025. The event highlighted essential facts on the sources, behaviour, and environmental fate of tritium, as well as associated radiological considerations across a range of nuclear and non-nuclear activities, thus addressing potential societal concerns related to current and future anthropogenic releases of tritium.

Contributors to the publication from the IAEA and the international scientific community introduced the scope and presented content of the report to a global audience from 118 Member States.
